            Group Fitness classes are FUN!

            • You are more likely to be, and stay, motivated to exercise when you are performing activities that are fun and enjoyable
            • Being around other people going through the same class creates a fun, social environment
            • Whether it’s the activity itself, the friendships you’ll form, or even a spirit of friendly competition, enjoying yourself makes all the difference when it comes to fitness

            Safe, effective workouts designed by certified instructors

            • Take the worry and guess work out of exercise
            • Maximize your fitness benefits by allowing the instructor to correct your form and reduce your injury risk

            Increase motivation and consistency

            • Other class members, as well as the instructors, will notice your absence and the accountability this creates is an ideal way to ensure that you keep up with your intention to exercise regularly
            • Group Fitness classes create a consistent schedule that will keep you exercising regularly

            Take on the challenge

            • You will be challenged to push yourself to the next level
            • You will be less likely to stop and give up in the group setting
            • The instructor and your classmates will encourage you to continue as you tire or fatigue, the same way you will encourage them

            No prior exercise experience or knowledge required

            • Participants do not need to know how to develop a safe and effective workout or which machines to use or for how long; it is already done for them.
            • Simply show up with a positive attitude, participate, and most importantly, have FUN!

            SilverSneakers Circuit:

            • Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout! Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. *The ability to stand for 30 minutes is a requirement for this class.

            Chair Yoga:

            • This new class is designed to challenge you  physically and mentally with a variety of simple and safe stretch exercises that you will do at your own pace. Using a chair for support, you will increase flexibility, build endurance and learn how to relax and think more clearly.

            SilverSneakers Classic:

            • Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

            Senior Cycing:

            • This 50-minute class is an answer to many requests from our senior-aged members who would love to benefit from the non-impact, fantastic cardiovascular workout known as indoor cycling but wanted a class more their “speed.” This low intensity class is perfect for beginners and seniors! Classes are dedicated to proper bike set-up, development and mastery of cycling techniques, proper form, and the building of strength, endurance, and overall fitness.    The instructor will lead the class through various simulated terrains set to uplifting music in a fun and encouraging environment.  Experience the enjoyment and benefits of indoor cycling at a pace you can master!

              *Parkinson’s Disease patients, with their doctor’s permission, are also encouraged to attend this beneficial class.  Current research shows evidence of possible symptom reduction from pedaling at moderate speeds for at least 40 minutes.

            Have A Ball!:

            • Enjoy the fun of fitness with a fitness/stability ball! This class includes core, balance and strength training and incorporates the use of a stability ball to increase the challenge.  This class is low intensity and appropriate for all levels of fitness.

            Babywearing:

            • Bond with your baby in a workout like no other! Parents wear their child using special carriers that keep your child close. The class provides several benefits, including the opportunity to bond with your child, build their core strength as well as yours, and have fun with your baby during the workout!

            Boot Camp:

            • Be ready for a fun, full body workout that gives both cardiovascular and muscular training.  Equipment used may include medicine balls, stability balls, kettlebells, battling ropes, tires, agility ladder, heavy bag, hand weights and more!

            Cardio Drumming:

            • This fun workout combines high energy music, easy to learn choreographed movement, drum sticks, a stability ball and a cardiovascular workout anyone can do. Express yourself, release stress, sweat, sing along and enjoy a group atmosphere where everyone is invited!

            Cardio Mix:

            • An intense mix of cardio, strength, and stretch.  This class makes use of steps, weights, balls, and body bars to offer a jam-packed hour of fun! Class may be offered outside – weather permitting.

            Circuit Blast:

            • Using timed intervals – this total body blast will keep you moving!  This class utilizes a variety of fitness equipment to fire up your routine!  Blasts of cardio are also incorporated to keep your heart rate in the zone!

            F.I.T.:

            • F.I.T. stands for – Functional Intensity Training.  Enjoy 45 minutes of a moderate to high intensity workout using various forms of resistance including free weights and body bars! Focusing on one major muscle group at a time, the low weight and high repetitions utilized will burn fat, increase muscular strength and endurance, and create leaner muscles while protecting bones and joints from injury! For all fitness levels men and women alike.

            Have A Ball!:

            • Enjoy the fun of fitness with a fitness/stability ball! This class includes core, balance and strength training and incorporates the use of a stability ball to increase the challenge.  This class is low intensity and appropriate for all levels of fitness.

            Interval Training:

            • This class combines cardio and strength intervals for maximum fat-burning. Cardio intervals may include step, kickboxing, ball and traditional floor aerobics. Strength intervals may utilize heavy and light free weights, large and small balls, steps and straps. Great for new exercisers as well as seasoned participants.

            Kickbox Xtra:

            • Kick up your fitness and health with this unique class.  Kickbox Xtra combines the aerobic benefits and fun of kickboxing with  of strength training intervals using a plethora of equipment that will help tone and shape your body. This class is designed to challenge any fitness level from the beginner to fitness enthusiast. Instructors are able to modify any exercise to fit your needs. Take the next step and kick away those pounds!

            Power Yoga:

            • This class will focus on improving Power and Strength through the use of Pilates and Yoga body positioning.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own sticky mat. Class will be conducted without shoes.

            Yoga:

            • This class will combine exercises from both the Pilates and yoga traditions to strengthen and stretch all major muscle groups. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sticky mat. Class will be conducted without shoes.

            X-FIT:

            • This is a structured metabolic strength and conditioning program that combines a wide variety of functional movements.  This program is setup to maximize your health through high intensity training utilizing a variety of tools such as: TRX system, kettlebells, heavy ropes, sledge hammer, sand bags, medicine balls, body bar, grinder sled and more.  A team environment formed through accountability and shared experiences.

             

             

            Pilates:

            • Unite the mind and body to gain core strength, control, consciousness, balance and symmetry. This original mat workout focuses on controlled, graceful movements in order to streamline the muscles by lengthening and strengthening them. This non-aggressive workout is a great addition to balance your weekly exercise routine. We recommend bringing a sticky mat to this class. Suitable for any fitness level.

            Zumba:

            • Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO” allowing participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. Good for any fitness level.
