The Centre is pleased to offer Sports Performance training to help athletes of all ages improve on and off the field! Sports Performance is a coed strength and conditioning program designed to meet the unique training needs of the youth athlete. Our hope is that they will leave our programs faster, stronger, more disciplined, and craving more of God!
This comprehensive program aims to maximize athletic performance by improving agility, footwork, speed, strength, power, explosiveness, flexibility, coordination, balance, symmetry, and overall athleticism. Prime emphasis is placed on injury prevention. We aim to equip our athletes on the field by learning proper exercise form, developing sound movement principles, and performing injury prevention exercises designed to help reduce the risk for injury during competition.
Our coaches are not here to just simply put the athletes through a training session. From the dynamic warm up to discussing post-workout nutrition, we want our athletes to learn the “why” behind what they are doing, develop discipline and teamwork, and ultimately encourage them in their walk with Jesus. Most training sessions will feature a brief discussion or devotion, which may cover anything from a simple “How’s School Going?” to ““The Importance of Drinking Water” or “Learning Humility from Jesus.”
