Hello, Centre members! My name is Craig Morr and I’m the managing director of the Christian Family Centre. For the past two years, it has been my pleasure to work with hundreds of our staff members to deliver world-class services to our members and guests. I want you to know that we genuinely miss seeing and serving all of you. We are praying for our members and our community, that God will provide us the strength to endure this season and that His glory will be seen; especially during this most Holy week where the blood of the pioneer and perfecter of faith, Jesus Christ, atones for our sin and confirms the new covenant which promises forgiveness.
Today, I would like to address a few questions so you know how we’re continuing to partner with you while our doors are closed.
- First, we anticipate that we will not be reopening until the Governor lifts the executive order restricting the operation of fitness facilities and restaurants. We will communicate our reopening information when the time comes.
- Also, we understand that paying for a membership that you can’t currently use isn’t fair, so we’ve frozen all membership fees. No membership fees will be charged until the executive order has been lifted.
Since membership fees are prepaid, and some of the charges made it through before we could cancel them, you will see a credit applied to your account for any fees that were charged at the beginning of this closure.
If you have any additional concerns about billing or the status of your membership, please send an email to our Sales & Service Director, Mike Orta or you can simply message us on Facebook. - We also want you to stay active and we’re here to help. You can email us at wellness@thecentre.info with your age, gender, and current fitness level. We will email you back a free workout you can perform at home with little to no equipment.
We are also posting at home workouts for our senior members on Facebook and we’re developing options for our broader membership.
The Centre and Corner Park are so much more than a fitness and entertainment facility. It’s a community. We are eager to re-open for all of you to engage, encourage, pray, and enjoy community together again.
We’re so grateful that God wasn’t surprised by this pandemic and that He is at work all around and in us. Please join us as we pray for those who are suffering, those who have lost loved ones, and for our leaders who are making decisions on our behalf. It is our prayer that you would grow closer to Christ and grow closer to your family and friends in the days ahead.
Thanks for allowing me to share this time with you today. May God bless and protect you as you care for yourself and those around you.
Craig Morr
