Program Overview:

IMPACT NFL FLAG Football is the premier youth flag football program for boys and girls grades 1-6. IMPACT NFL FLAG Football provides an exciting way to enjoy America’s favorite sport with teams playing 7 on 7 to in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness while in a Christ-centered environment. Teams are introduced each week to the crowd and run out under the Impact Banner. Our partnership with NFL Flag allows players to have jerseys resembling those of the NFL and have “pop-out” flags. Each year, we have an end of the season celebration along with Impact Volleyball, which may feature Strength Teams or other great acts for the children.

Key Policies:

The Centre develops unique rules for Flag Football based on the NFL Flag model. Differences may occur from NFL Flag stated rules based on what we believe to be age appropriate and prior league experience. Also note that rules will gradually tighten through the year as the children develop more and more skill.
League registrations may be capped based on field space. Please register as early as possible to ensure a slot!
Practice locations will range from The Centre to potentially local churches.
Game locations are primarily Cougar Field, but depending on league size may include other locations.
Teams are balanced competitively based on evaluations. Beyond that we will honor parent/child and sibling relationships within the same league. Requests for particular practice times and/or friends will be honored when possible, but cannot be guaranteed given the size and competitiveness of the league.
Parents and fans are expected to model positive, Christ-honoring behavior and sportsmanship at all times. While we aim for no mistakes on or off the field, they will happen. We expect parents to work along side the coaches and Impact team to resolve situations quickly and for the benefit of the children.
All coaches are required to pass a state and national background check. Previous football experience is preferred. If you are not comfortable giving team devotions, our staff will assist you or we will match you with a partner coach that is gifted that way.
Volunteers are vital to this league. Please prayerfully consider helping out, whether it is as a coach, a scorekeeper, a referee, or concession worker.
