Each week of Impact Day Camp has a theme. Days are structured with 4 hours of theme related activities in the morning in addition to a devotional time. Afternoon fun is left up to your camper. They can choose from counselor led activities including; swimming, activities in the gym or outdoors or watching a movie. *Current theme listings subject to change.
Let’s go back to the days of hot rods & root beer floats, tie dye & hula hoops! Campers will get their groove on as we revisit and relive a few of the most fun decades of all time! Campers will experience decade specific activities, costumes and fun! It’s going to be the cat’s meow!
In between righting crime and saving the world, campers will have personal encounters with Lenawee’s own superheroes! Campers will also get the opportunity to test their own super powers! Visits from firefighters, police and local military are planned.
Hey, Let’s Make a Deal…. you drop off your campers and we’ll make sure they have a blast this week! This week’s fun includes life sized board games, being active participants in some of their favorite game shows and lots of Double Dare fun and laughs!
June 29-July 3
It’s a Jungle out there! Our campers will be wild with excitement as we explore animals including a trip to the Toledo Zoo. We will be visited by “The Critter Guy” and experience animals up close and personal!
It’s red vs white, it’s blue vs yellow…..It’s a fun filled, five day blitz of friendly competition including trivia, sports, spelling bees and more! Campers will learn how to work on a team and depend on others as they challenge themselves and each other during this year’s Olympicmania!
Water, water everywhere! Your camper’s week is filled with wild water activities including a super-long, super-slippery slip n’ slide, super-soaker games, Corner Park fun, water relays and a trip to Rolling Hills (2nd-7th only). Be prepared for wild week filled with friendship, memories and water silliness!
Can you REALLY believe your eyes? Do our minds play tricks on us? During this fascinating week of nonsense and mind benders, campers explore the science of optical illusions as they participate in hands on activities and crafts. They may even come home with a “trick” up their sleeve!
Whether its pirate treasure or nature’s treasures, we will be on the hunt this week to discover new and exciting things, people and experiences. Campers will enjoy a week filled with treasure hunting, fossil making, group games and scavenger hunts! We can’t wait for each camper to put on their thinking caps and help us on our treasure hunt to find out who stole the camp cookies!
Who will be the Top Dog this week? It’s a good ole’ fashioned faceoff between the Cool Campers and the Silly Staff. Campers will enjoy a week of hilarious physical tasks and mental challenges that will ultimately decide which ‘dog’ owns the Dog House!
Explore art, music, poetry and more using our senses and discovering how the arts affect our senses. Some things are music to our ears and some not so much. What kind of art will you create while listening to different types of music? We will create! Create! Create! in ways you can only imagine.
We will spend this week Paying it Forward and performing Random Acts of Kindness by being a blessing to those around us! We’re teaming up with local organizations in our community to discover how helping others in our community benefits us all. We will be saying “thank you” to those who serve us and serve others.
Bring your “passport” and your walking shoes as we discover the world on on the other side of the world! Campers will enjoy location specific arts, crafts & cuisine as they “travel” far off places! Hey Camper, don’t forget to get your passport stamped!
August 31-September 4
It’s our final week of camp and that can only mean one thing! Campers choice ALL WEEK! Campers will choose activities, snacks, movies and more all week! We will spend our final day together in Pj’s, sleeping bags, watching movies and eating snacks and popcorn all day!
This is not your grandparent’s sandbox! The high-tech sandbox that is the award-winning Minecraft allows players to build, dream, imagine and use their critical thinking skills to create worlds that are only limited by their imagination. This one week camp will offer even the most novice ‘gamer’ the opportunity to take their creative efforts to an entirely new level while learning new skills that enhance their abilities to think critically and put their imagination into real form. PC systems will be used to grow, explore, build and learn.

Safety City is for children entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2015. The program will be divided up into three areas: classroom time, time in the “city”, and time spent with a speaker on the theme of the day. Certified teachers will head each classroom and the “city” will be headed up by SRO JOhn Birdwell.

Schedule: Monday, Bicycle Safety (Bike helmets will be handed out). Tuesday, Fire Safety. Wednesday, Electrical Safety. Thursday, Poison Safety. Friday, School Bus Safety (along with school bus ride).

How can I qualify for member pricing? You must have a family membership with the camper listed as a member or the camper must have a student membership of their own.
Are lunch and snacks included in the price? Yes, we offer the same menu each week. Also a morning and afternoon snack is included in the overall price. Those with allergies or who do not care to eat the lunch and snacks provided may supply their own food at their own cost; there will be no alternative lunch. Lunch Menu
