Each week of Impact Day Camp has a theme. Days are structured with 4 hours of theme related activities in the morning in addition to a devotional time. Afternoon fun is left up to your camper. They can choose from counselor led activities including; swimming, activities in the gym or outdoors or watching a movie.
Come one! Come all! Campers of all ages, join us for a week of circus-themed games and activities. Campers will engage their creative and silly side this week as they jump through hoops, walk the tightrope, face painting, try out their juggling skills, and indulge in some good ole cotton candy and peanuts as we host a camp carnival. Be ready, you may be the one to tame the lions!

How did the zebra get its stripes? Why does an elephant have a long nose? Did you know the Atacama Desert in South America hasn’t gotten any rain in 400 years? In parts of Asia, it can be -90 degrees in the winter! Yet many plants and animals make these continents their home. Throughout the world, God has created animals to adapt to live in all types of places and extreme weather! The animal kingdom encompasses a vast variety of unique, incredible creatures! Come explore some of Michigan’s wildlife as we’ll have special visitors and an offsite animal adventure!

Sylvania Fossil Park Field Trip Permission Slip
Get ready to dig, mix and build! Create buildings, roads, and whole cities with construction blocks, and get a chance to see diggers, front-loaders and bulldozers in person! Dress up in construction worker safety clothes and use tools, mix “cement” and make 3D sculptures. Get your hard hat ready
Let’s get moving! We’re extra healthy and active this week with visits from our in-house personal trainers. The week will be even more jam-packed with sports than usual. Each day we will learn and play different sports including basketball, football, whiffle ball, soccer, volleyball, and more! Come dressed in your favorite team apparel!
-Campers choose one sport for the week. -Camps are filled with excellent instruction, affirmation, and games/activities. -Lunch, fun, and great memories are included! -Daily devotionals and worship time!

Investigate the mysterious inner workings of the marvelous human body. Learn what it’s like to create art with—and without—certain body parts and senses. Explore why your body produces oozy, mushy, stinky gunk like burps and gas, and other gross stuff like body odor, and bad breath. Dive into an eye-opening, spine-tingling, innovation-sparking adventure to uncover the secrets of what makes us human. This week will be “gene”-ius!
Time to get competitive! Color Wars Week has something for every camper with opportunities in ATHLETICS (a wide variety of sports) CREATIVITY (Sand Castles Competitions, LegoArt and Marshmallow creations) DETECTIVE SKILLS (Camp-Wide, Scavenger Hunt), ACADEMICS (Color Bowl, Spelling Bee and the creation of poems and lyrics for showcase), and TEAMWORK (the Ultimate Impact Camp Relay). Represent your color and create your team mascot through intense yet friendly, supportive and cooperative competition as Color War Teams battle it out at Impact Camp!

We’ve all secretly wanted to be a super hero! Whether it’s Spider-Man or the local police officer, heroes are what we strive to be like. We’ll take a look at how everyday, real-life heroes impact our communities and how we can support them! We will discover behind the cape and mask lays the secret power to our Super Hero identity, the heart. Campers will be fascinated by visits from real-life firefighters and police while being able to climb on the fire truck and check out the inside of a police car! Hold on tight as we undergo many difficult challenges that will allow campers to grow into tough and inspiring heroes. Let’s bring out the hero in all of us!
Teaming up with the HOPE Center Community Garden, we’ll start in the garden examining the dirt & all that grows in it. Join us in creating our own veggie dyes, recipe experiments, food art, delicious treats including wormy dirt cups, & a camp wide food fight!
All you’ll need this week is a bathing suit, towel and sunscreen! Get ready to be blasted with water activities that challenge the mind and body! You’re never too cool to participate in team relay games and get drenched in water. Be ready to BOUNCE, CLIMB, SPLASH, & SWIM at the Centre Corner Park and conclude this awesome week with a trip to an outdoor water park!!
BE the CHANGE! – Our communities are strong when we team up together. This week, campers will have the opportunity to serve their community and learn what it means to be a servant leader. Discover how you can take your skills and passions to make a big difference in the world! This week is a camper FAVORITE every year!
An exciting hands-on learning opportunity that encourages experimentation, creativity, and critical thinking through art! Campers will engage in activities such as JunkArt, sculptures, and becoming a cartoonist. What will be your canvas – the sidewalk? a fence post? a t-shirt? Where will you display your art – an easel? the wall? the ceiling? We will celebrate the end of our week with an IDC Gallery exhibition!
This is not your grandparent’s sandbox! The high-tech sandbox that is the award-winning Minecraft allows players to build, dream, imagine and use their critical thinking skills to create worlds that are only limited by their imagination. This one week camp will offer even the most novice ‘gamer’ the opportunity to take their creative efforts to an entirely new level while learning new skills that enhance their abilities to think critically and put their imagination into real form. PC systems will be used to grow, explore, build and learn.

Let your child discover the joy of reading through “Amazing Authors & Illustrator’s Imaginarium.” This literacy camp showcases talented children’s book authors and illustrators. Children are encouraged to use their imaginations, personal experiences and creativity to recreate the stories and demonstrate comprehension. The themes are also integrated though other fun theme-based activities such as science, math, art and music.

Are lunch and snacks included in the price? Yes, we offer the same menu each week. Also a morning and afternoon snack is included in the overall price.
