Kevin has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry. He is a certified Personal Trainer (NSCA), a certified Kettlebell instructor (NETA), Bootcamp instructor and a graduate of Siena Heights University. Kevin oversees the coed fitness area and the personal training program at The Centre. His statement: “I would like to train with you because you are you; special and unique. You are designed and capable for great things. Through purposeful training we can increase function, balance, strength and energy as well as reshape the body.” Kevin is willing to work with all ages and fitness levels making training fun and effective.
Masters in Human Services from Capella University in 2005, SilverSneakers MSROM Certification in 2008, Healthways Group Fitness Instructor Certification 2009, Personal Training Certification from American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) in 2011, facilitator of The Centre Running Program and the LiveCentred Weight Loss Challenge.
As a SilverSneakers Muscular Strength and Range of Motion (MSROM) and SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit instructor for the past four years, Dori has been blessed and thrilled to see older individuals advance in their fitness and health! The SilverSneaker classes and the LiveCentred Weight Loss Challenge have allowed her to be a witness to the power of healthy, Christ-centered life style change. Seeing such success propelled Dori to obtain a personal training certification and to work individually with clients of all ages and goals! She believes that everyone can improve their health and fitness… smart progression is the key! Dori is thankful for her supportive husband, Tom, and her two fantastic children, Isaac and Olivia.
Kaylin graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s of science degree in health sciences. She is the Ladies-Only Fitness Centre and Group Fitness Supervisor at The Centre. She is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
Kaylin has been running competitively for the past 8 years. She was a student-athlete competing in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. She has experience working with a variety of age groups by providing education on nutrition and exercise. By being a fitness enthusiast and having a caring heart, she wants to reach out to all age groups and fitness levels to help them reach their goals whether it being performance, weight loss, or strength goals. She believes that consistency and having fun with exercise is key to reach the desired results.
