Fitness Classes offer a great workout alternative for members. The Centre offers a wide range of classes for beginners to experts. Why work out alone when you could be part of a team? Classes are not only a great way to stretch your work out, but it is also a great way to make friends and gain accountability in your work out regiment. Try one today!

All classes, with the exception of Specialty Classes, are included free with your membership! Non members can take advantage of our classes through the purchase of day passes or punch cards.
These classes are only for women and are generally located in Group Fitness B.
Body Sculpting will shape the body and define muscles to improve physique and balance. The combination of cardiovascular and strength training may include step, kick boxing, dance moves, medicine ball, free weights, resistance bands and stability ball to a variety of music genres. This class is designed for novice and seasoned individuals.
Any combination of Kickbox, Turbo Kick, Step, and/or Hi/Lo! A great variety class for all fitness levels!
This class combines cardio and strength intervals for maximum fat-burning. Cardio intervals may include step, kickboxing, ball and traditional floor aerobics. Strength intervals may utilize heavy and light free weights, large and small balls, steps and straps. Great for new exercisers as well as seasoned participants.
Unite the mind and body to gain core strength, control, consciousness, balance and symmetry. This original mat workout focuses on controlled, graceful movements in order to streamline the muscles by lengthening and strengthening them. This non-aggressive workout is a great addition to balance your weekly exercise routine. We recommend bringing a sticky mat to this class. Suitable for any fitness level.
This new twist on pilates utilizes a small stability ball for an extra core challenge as well as alignment focus. This is done with no shoes for alignment and balance. All levels of fitness are accommodated.
Combines Pilates, yoga and traditional strength moves for total body conditioning.
This class combines step with weight training. A great way to get cardiovascular and muscular training in one class! Suitable for intermediate to advanced levels, but beginners may try.
Step training using a platform bench. This class is a unique way to improve the overall cardiovascular system. Intermediate and advanced fitness levels welcome.
This intermediate to advanced class alternates between step combinations and weight training. You will burn maximum calories by bringing your heart rate up and down. Try it out today! Suitable for intermediate and advanced levels, but beginners are welcome to try.

Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO” allowing participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. Good for any fitness level.

Bring some balance into your life! Enjoy the benefits of a stronger core, increased balance, and more endurance for sports, recreation activities, or the everyday chores of life. This class will be divided into equal segments of basic cardio, core, and functional balance training. Train hard and feel great!
Be ready for a fun, full body workout that gives both cardiovascular and muscular training. Equipment used may include medicine balls, stability balls, kettlebells, battling ropes, tires, agility ladder, heavy bag, hand weights and more!
This class consists of unique exercises utilizing multiple joint movements and full body exercises to create an “after burn” on the metabolism. A variety of tools are used to challenge your body within resistance and cardio strength. This class will utilize new tools such as TRX system, kettlebells, heavy ropes, sledge hammer, sand bags, medicine balls, body bar, grinder sled and more.
Enjoy the fun of fitness with a fitness/stability ball. This workout combines the benefits of core training and strength training by incorporating the use of a stability ball.

This class will combine exercises from both the Pilates and yoga traditions to strengthen and stretch all major muscle groups. Workout may include small balls, medicine balls, large balls, body bars, weights, straps and blocks for a complete total body workout. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sticky mat. Class will be conducted without shoes.
Join in the fun! Challenge yourself training station to station, using a variety of equipment, exercises and music ending with a short time of sharing prayer requests and praises.
This is a structured metabolic strength and conditioning program that combines a wide variety of functional movements. A team environment formed through accountability and shared experiences.
Would you like to benefit from the non-impact, fantastic cardiovascular workout known as indoor cycling but don’t feel ready to jump into a regular Centre Cycling class? Then Basic Cycling is for you! This lower intensity class is perfect for those new to indoor cycling and for those who want a “toned down” version of what many call “spinning.” Classes are dedicated to proper bike set-up, cycling techniques, and the building of strength, endurance, and overall fitness. The instructor will lead the class through various simulated terrains set to fun, uplifting music in an encouraging environment. Experience the fun and benefits of indoor cycling at a pace you can conquer.
Indoor cycling is a group exercise class done on Keiser M3 stationary bikes. During the class the instructor simulates the ride. Together, you travel on flat roads, climb hills, sprint, and race! You can indoor cycle when it is raining or snowing outside, and the class is dedicated to the building of strength, endurance, and overall fitness. You are kept motivated by the instructor, the people around you, and by the music. Get ready for a fun, fantastic cardiovascular workout!
This 60-minute class has two components. Enjoy 45 minutes of indoor cycling which includes interval training, motivating music, and a variety of terrains that will enable riders to increase their cycling power and reach their fitness goals. The remaining 15 minutes of each class will be dedicated to building muscular strength through a variety of off-the-bike exercises. On a rotating basis, upper body, lower body, and core-strengthening work will be incorporated. Mats, weights, bands, and/or other exercise tools may be utilized, as directed by the instructor.
This 50-minute class is an answer to many requests from our senior-aged members who would love to benefit from the non-impact, fantastic cardiovascular workout known as indoor cycling but wanted a class more their “speed.” This low intensity class is perfect for beginners and seniors! Classes are dedicated to proper bike set-up, development and mastery of cycling techniques, proper form, and the building of strength, endurance, and overall fitness. The instructor will lead the class through various simulated terrains set to uplifting music in a fun and encouraging environment. Experience the enjoyment and benefits of indoor cycling at a pace you can master!
*Parkinson’s Disease patients, with their doctor’s permission, are also encouraged to attend this beneficial class. Current research shows evidence of possible symptom reduction from pedaling at moderate speeds for at least 40 minutes.
This 75-minute class includes important warm-up before and cool-down time after a full hour of indoor cycling that challenges your stamina and strength. The rides contain varied music and a variety of terrains that will inspire and challenge riders to reach their fitness goals while having a great time. These high energy rides will inspire you to push your limits.
SilverSneakers or SilverSplash group fitness classes are appropriate for older adults who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, intimidated, unfamiliar with exercise, or those entering post-rehabilitation programs. These classes meet either in the Gym or the Pool.
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout! Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. *The ability to stand for 30 minutes is a requirement for this class.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
This new class is designed to challenge you physically and mentally with a variety of simple and safe stretch exercises that you will do at your own pace. Using a chair for support, you will increase flexibility, build endurance and learn how to relax and think more clearly.

This is a low to medium intensity aerobic class including strength, flexibility, and less complex movement. Class is conducted in the shallow water and is good for those who are interested in general movement with the options of increasing intensity and/or skills.
Our most popular class is for those who want vigorous movement, high-intensity aerobics, and strength training; conducted in the shallow water.
Try our high-intensity aerobics in the deep water. This class is perfect for those needing a great workout without impact on the joints. No swimming skills required; participants wear float belts.

Sink or Swim: Xtreme Land and Water Training is the definition of complete fitness. The class will train participants in the water and on land; focusing on strength, flexibility, endurance, cardiovascular fitness. Things you need for SOS: water, swim suit (if desired, shirt or shorts may be worn over suit), goggles, and a good work ethic. **This class is designed to challenge people of all levels, but is a high intensity class.
